Johnson Thread-View™ Systems is an innovative organization that was formed to develop and bring to market new technology to improve the screw thread inspection process. By applying computerized vision system technology, we have successfully redefined the state-of-the-art in the measurement of external screw threads – both the calibration of working / setting thread plugs and the inspection of externally threaded products.

Armed with over 30 years of experience in the thread gage business, Stanley Johnson led a team of engineers and software developers to create the industry’s first fully automated, non-contact thread inspection system. The result is the Johnson Thread-View™ system.

Launched in 2003, the system is meeting the rigorous specification requirements of thread plug gage calibration and threaded product manufacturers at major aerospace, automotive and defense manufacturers and their supplier base.

We are enabling organizations to:
